Erecting houses made of crushed morals and smeared lipstick.
We never learn unless it's on primetime.
At some point we must ask ourselves:
"Why have a civilization anymore if we no longer are interested in being civilized?"*

As I trudged through the weeds I pulled behind a feeling of dread.
Too tired to go on I collapsed into the green.
I caught glimpse of the sky and it told me to keep walking.
To keep dragging that burden.
Until the green is nothing but cracks in the ground.
